Carol Cote, CEO

Carol Cote founded Meeting Consultants, Inc. in 1979 in response to client requests to coordinate and manage their events throughout the country and around the globe. Carol’s goal was simple-to provide her clients with creative, service-oriented, flexible and cost effective event management solutions. As a woman business owner, Carol was recognized as a pioneer in the arena of meeting and event management. Under her leadership and direction, Meeting Consultants has become an admired and respected company, providing event planning and management services to a broad spectrum of clients.

Carol was a founding member and Past President of the Georgia Chapter of Meeting Professionals International and co-authored the book Perfect Meetings. She is instrumental each year in securing Meeting Consultants’ WBENC (Women’s Business Enterprise National Council) certification, which assists clients with supplier diversity requirements.

Currently, Carol serves as CEO of Meeting Consultants and maintains a watchful eye over the fast paced growth of the company, ensuring that its core value of customer service remains a focus.

Casey Cote, President

Casey joined Meeting Consultants in 1995 and quickly launched the company into the technology age with the development of Meeting Consultants’ proprietary event registration tools. As President, he has continued to lead the company’s strategic growth through the acquisition of Core Lan, a technology company specializing in event management tools. Casey is also actively involved in managing customer relationships and marketing Meeting Consultants to current and potential clients.

After trying his hand as an entrepreneur, Casey gained valuable experience at Sprint where he worked as a financial analyst, and then finally as manager of forecasting and budgets, prior to joining Meeting Consultants. His strong financial background has aided Meeting Consultants in many areas, such as the recent acquisition.

Casey continues the tradition of emphasizing the core value of customer service amongst the Meeting Consultants team members. His vision strives for the company to become an industry leader in innovation, technology and meeting planning.

Chris Cote, Director of Operations

As Director of Operations for Meeting Consultants, Chris is responsible for all aspects of project fulfillment. He works closely with the project development team completing responses to RFQ’s, calculating costs, providing strategic direction and organizing fulfillment teams. Chris also consults with our information technology team developing standardized meeting management tools and utilities designed to improve efficiencies while maintaining the highest quality of service possible.

Chris has over 23 years of project and operations management experience in the technology industry and has witnessed the transition from proprietary based communications technologies to today’s standards based technology environment. Chris was co-owner of a technology company that implemented standards based network and systems management solutions for fortune 500 companies. Chris was also sole proprietor of a company that provided telecommunications fiber optic backbone performance and bandwidth benchmark testing.

Mike Kennedy, Vice President, Technology Services

Mike is currently Vice President, Technology Services for Meeting Consultants. He oversees day to day operations with the members of the global technical team and event management tools, including Portfolio Master, Event Master, and Metric Master. Mike works directly with customers to define their technical requirements and fulfillment of those requirements.

Prior to joining the Meeting Consultants team, Mike served as principle of Core Lan (Meeting Consultants’ latest acquisition), where he successfully managed multiple technical teams ensuring consistent and high quality output for customers. Mike brings 35 years experience in the IT industry in hardware and software architecture, development, support and education. For the past five years, his focus has been on event registration and management tools.

Kent Gregoire, Consultant

Kent has more than 20 years of experience as founder and CEO of eleven fast-growth business start-ups that represent a diverse industry mix. Kent serves as strategy advisor to Meeting Consultants president Casey Cote and his senior management team. He facilitates the company’s planning workgroup, a successful high performing management team.

Kent is also the President of The Alternative Board^®--TAB Metro Atlanta and Founder & CEO of Responsibility Centered Leadership, Inc.
